【Abstract】 A comparison of Biography of Confucius and Historical Records indicates that the Biography of Confucius on the mirror unearthed from the tomb of Marquis Liu He is written mainly based on Confucius Families,by occasionally referring to the Biography of Zhongni’s Disciples and Preface of Taishigong,with only a few cases being influenced by Biography of Gongyang. The description of Confucius as “a long man” and “a commoner master” shows that the “pattern of Confucius” is also consistent with Confucius Families. Therefore, the whole creation of the portrait of Confucius is fundamentally based on Historical Records, with the “biography” and “pattern” as mutual corroboration.更多还原
