【摘要】 原教育部无机非金属材料专业教学指导委员会,坚持"以本为本",推进"四个回归",坚持不懈提高教学质量,为学生奠定扎实的专业基础。文章以西安建筑科技大学材料科学与工程专业为例,探讨了提高材料类专业基础课程教学质量的途径。以教学的二个基本要素"教"与"学"为切入点,以竞赛为契机,采取多种方法手段,提高教师的授课水平,激发学生的学习兴趣,教学相长,最终提高了材料类专业基础课的教学质量。

【Abstract】 The former Inorganic Nonmetallic Materials Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education adheres to the principle of "basic-oriented", promotes the "four regression", unremittingly improves the teaching quality,and lays a solid professional foundation for students. Taking material science and engineering major of Xi ’an University of Architecture and Technology as an example, this paper discusses the ways to improve the teaching quality of basic courses of material major. Taking the two basic elements of teaching "teaching" and "learning" as the entry point, taking the competition as an opportunity, adopting various methods and means to improve the teaching level of teachers, stimulate students’ interest in learning, and finally improve the teaching quality of basic courses of materials specialty.
