【摘要】 在语言各级单位里,句子的地位无疑是最重要的,本文着重讨论四个问题:一、句子到底是语法层面的还是语用层面的?二、句子研究的重点究竟是形式还是意义?三、句子的意义到底由哪几部分构成?四、句子研究新的突破点在哪里?我们在深入研究句子三大系统(句型、句类、句式)的基础上,建议再构建第四个以"情态"为标志的新系统"句态",这应该是句子研究新的增长点。更多还原

【Abstract】 Among language units,sentence is the most important one. This article focuses on discussing four questions:1. Is sentence a grammatical unit or a pragmatic unit?2. Is the focus of sentence research on form or meaning?3. What constitutes the meaning of a sentence?4. What is the breakthrough point in sentence research?After doing a deep study of the three major systems of sentence,i.e.,Sentence,Sentence Category,Sentence Patterns,we suggest that a fourth system"Sentence Modality"marked by"modality"should be established.
