【Abstract】 As a very active contemporary British sociologist,Entwistle extends the tentacles of fashion research to aesthetics,walks out a completely different academic route from the traditional fashion research in the way of situational practice,and opens the research way of reflecting on the situation by practice. The theory of situational practice includes three aspects: business practice in the fashion cultural industry system,aesthetic practice in the fashion practice community,and situational physical practice in daily life. Entwistle established a deep connection between body and clothing,trying to bridge the gap between body and clothing in traditional fashion theory research with “clothed body”,dynamically presents the relationship between body clothing and society in situational practice,so as to reshape the fashion subject. This has opened up new methods for contemporary fashion research,especially the applied research of fashion theory,and established a new basis for development.更多还原
