【摘要】 目的初步评价公共卫生专业研究生双语课程教育的实施效果。方法 2020年12月至2021年3月,招募郑州大学公共卫生学院252名在读研究生作为调查对象,根据双语课程选修情况将其分为选课组(163例)和未选课组(89例)。进行问卷调查,比较两组学生自我英语能力评价、英语使用习惯、英语水平、论文撰写及发表情况。结果入学时两组英语成绩及英语六级通过率相比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。选课组当前英语六级通过率高于未选课组(76.69%比65.17%,P<0.05)。选课组自我英语能力评价高于未选课组(P<0.05),使用英语听、读、写者占比高于未选课组(P<0.05),两组用英语交流的比率差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。选课组撰写中文论文者比率低于未选课组(24.54%比40.45%,P<0.05),撰写英文论文者比率高于未选课组(49.08%比26.97%,P<0.05)。两组中英文论文发表率相比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论中英双语课程有助于促进公共卫生专业研究生养成良好的英语使用习惯,并可提高学生撰写英文论文的主动性。更多还原

【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate the effect of bilingual education for postgraduate majoring in public health. Methods From December 2020 to March 2021, 252 postgraduates from the School of Public Health of Zhengzhou University were recruited as survey subjects. According to the elective status of bilingual courses, they were divided into elective group(163 cases) and unselected group(89 cases). After the questionnaire surveys, the students’ self-evaluation of English ability, English usage habits, English proficiency, essay writing and publication situation were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistical difference between the two groups of English scores and the pass rate of College English Test Band-6(CET-6) at the time of admission(P>0.05). The current pass rate of CET-6 in elective group was higher than that in unselected group(76.69% vs. 65.17%, P<0.05). The self-evaluation of English proficiency in elective group was higher than that in unselected group(P<0.05). The rates of listening, reading, and writing in English in elective group were higher than those in unselected group(P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the rate of communication in English between the two groups(P>0.05). In elective group, the writing rate of Chinese essays was lower than that in unselected group(24.54% vs. 40.45%, P<0.05), while the writing rate of English essays was higher than that in unselected group(49.08% vs. 26.97%, P<0.05). There was no statistical difference in the publication rate of Chinese and English papers between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion Bilingual courses could help public health graduates to develop good English usage habits, and could improve students’ initiative in writing English papers.更多还原
