【Abstract】 During the National Currency Reform in 1935, the Tianjin Branch of National Currency Reserve Board was established to handle the custody, issuance and exchange of the reserve for national currency where the branch is located. Under the shadow of the "North China Independence Movement, " the financial community of Tianjin, the local authorities in North China and the national government of Nanjing were all involved, each with its own plan. A review of the establishment, organizational structure, and responsibilities of Tianjin Branch is of great importance to the research on National Currency Reserve Board and National Currency Reform, as well as to the in-depth study of the financial history of the Republic of China, the relationship between government and business, and the relationship between the central and local governments.更多还原
