中美案例教学法对比研究

【摘要】 案例教学法是一种开放互动式教学方法,以启发式教学和自我引导学习为主,通过对教学案例的分析讨论,培养学生分析情境并进行理性论证的能力。哈佛商学院是最早在商学院中推行案例教学的代表,形成了以文本案例阅读为基础、以讨论式教学为主要方式、以参与者为中心组织课堂的经典案例教学法。我国在引入美式案例教学模式的过程中,不断进行本土化探索和创新,形成教师引导为主、多种学习方式融合、强调理论应用于实践等具有中国课堂特色的案例教学模式。中国与美国在案例教学法上的差异主要源于发展阶段、发展模式、文化背景与教育环境的不同。为支撑未来高层次应用型研究生培养,中国案例教学需要进一步兼顾理论性与实践性、规范性与灵活性、情境化与普适性。

【Abstract】 The case-based teaching method is open and interactive, mainly based on heuristic teaching and self-guided learning. Through the analysis and discussion of teaching cases, it cultivates students’ ability to conduct the situational analysis and rational argumentation. Harvard Business School is among the first business schools to adopt case-based teaching, which has formed a classic case-based teaching method that is characterized by case reading, discussion-based teaching, and participant-centered classroom organization. Along with introducing the Western case-based teaching method into China, domestic universities in China have been continuously making explorations on how to make it innovatively localized, forming the case-based teaching methods that suit the characteristics of Chinese classrooms. The case-based teaching method in China is typically teacher-led and integrated with various other learning methods, and it gives weight to theoretical application and practice. The differences between Chinese and American case-based teaching methods mainly stem from the differences in the mature stages of applying such a method, development models, and cultural backgrounds and educational environment. To support the high-level application-oriented graduate training for the future, the case-based teaching in China needs to further give consideration to the balance between theory and practice, standardization and flexibility, and contextualization and generalizability.
