【Abstract】 Ideological and political education is a new measure to carry out the fundamental task of moral education and cultivating people in university, and is the core and key of first-class course construction of inorganic chemistry. Based on the characteristics and teaching practice of inorganic chemistry, the importance of implementation of ideological and political education in pharmaceutical course were discussed. The ideological and political education elements contained in inorganic chemistry were subtly infiltrated into classroom teaching, which is conducive to cultivate students’ spirit of scientific inquiry and innovation consciousness, to foster students’ critical thinking and environmental awareness and enhance the students’ cultural confidence and patriotism feelings.
