【Abstract】 Ideology-oriented education is a comprehensive educational concept that takes various courses and ideological and political theory courses in the same direction, through the synergy between the two, and regards “cultivating people by virtue” as the fundamental task of education. How to integrate ideological and political elements into the courses taught in a natural and harmonious way is a major challenge faced by college teachers. In this thesis, the ideological and political teaching design and path exploration of the course “Fundamentals of Materials Science” are mainly carried out from the aspects of teaching content design, teaching methods, and course evaluation methods.
