高纯蒙脱石制备工艺试验研究

【摘要】 天然膨润土是以蒙脱石为主要成分的黏土矿物,蒙脱石含量决定了天然膨润土的利用价值。本试验采用小锥角水力旋流器-自然沉淀-高速离心联合工艺对天然膨润土进行提纯,利用X射线衍射(XRD)仪、傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)仪和比表面积孔径分析仪对提纯前后膨润土进行表征分析。结果表明,在沉降时间35 h,六偏磷酸钠分散剂用量为0.5%,离心机转速3 000 r/min的条件下,提纯后膨润土蒙脱石含量从52%提高到97%,比表面积从23.461 3 m~2/g增加到67.085 m~2/g,吸蓝量从23 g/100 g提升到42.9 g/100 g,提纯效果显著。

【Abstract】 Natural bentonite is a clay mineral with montmorillonite as the main component. The content of montmorillonite determines the value of natural bentonite. In this paper, a small cone angle hydrocyclone-natural precipitation-high speed centrifugal combined process was used to purify natural bentonite. X-ray diffractometer(XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR) and specific surface area pore analyzer were used to characterize and analyze bentonite before and after purification. The results show that under the conditions of a sedimentation time of 35 h, sodium hexametaphosphate dispersant dosage of 0.5%, and centrifuge speed of 3 000 r/min, the content of montmorillonite increases from 52% to 97%, the specific surface area increases from 23.461 3 m~2/g to 67.085 m~2/g, and the methylene blue index increases from 23 g/100 g to 42.9 g/100 g, the combined process has a significant purification effect.
