【Abstract】 Taurine(Tau),2-aminoethanesulfonic acid,is found in all animal cells at high concentrations and has many biological functions,such as antioxidant,growth promotion,neuroendocrine regulation.In recent years,Taurine has gradually been applied to animal production.In this article,we discussed the physical and chemical properties,synthesis and metabolic pathways,biological functions,and application in animal production of taurine to provide a theoretical basis for the rational and effective use of taurine in animal production.更多还原
