一种用于平均功率跟踪的快速响应升压转换器
A Fast-Response Boost Converter for Average Power Tracking
【摘要】 提出了一款高速高效率的平均功率跟踪(APT)升压转换器,该转换器用于无线发射系统的供电,其控制回路由一条基于固定频率关断时间(CFOT)的闭环反馈路径和一条基于一次开关(Single on/off)的开环路径组成.在稳态工作时,闭环反馈路径通过CFOT控制器实现了稳定的脉冲宽度控制(PWM).在参考电压跟踪时,一次开关控制器通过对输出端谷值电压VL的线性化预测,准确地控制输出电压在一次开关动作后完成切换.该电源调制器在SMIC 130nm工艺下进行设计并仿真,实现了3.2μs/V的参考电压跟踪速度和96.5%的峰值效率.
【Abstract】 A boost converter with high efficiency and high speed for Average Power Tracking(APT)is presented.The converter is used for the wireless transmission system.Its control stage includes a feedback path based on the Constant-Frequency Off-Time(CFOT)control,and an open-loop path based on the single on/off control.In the steady state,the feedback path realizes Pulse Width Modulation(PWM)through the compensator and CFOT controller.In the tracking state,the single on/off controller predicts the valley value of output voltage(VL),and control the single on/off tracking correctly.The converter is designed and simulated on SMIC 130 nm process,and peaking efficiency of 96.5% and a reference tracking speed of 3.2μs/V are achieved.
