Effect of epalasta combined with mecobalamin on diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)
【Abstract】 Objective To study the clinical value of epalasta combined with mecobalamin in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods 100 DPN patients in our hospital from January 2017 to March 2020 were selected and they were divided into two groups according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with mecobalamin monotherapy. The experimental group was treated with ipasitra based on the control group. Compare the clinical efficacy, safety and motor nerve and sensory nerve conduction status in different treatment stages between the two groups. Results The total clinical effective rate of the experimental group was 88.0%, which was higher than 62.0%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the conduction velocities of sensory nerve and motor nerve between the two groups; after treatment, the conduction velocities of sensory nerve and motor nerve in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There were no serious adverse events during the treatment period in the two groups. Conclusion The combination of epalrestat and mecobalamin in the treatment of patients with DPN has a definite effect, high safety, and can significantly improve the sensory and motor nerve conduction velocity of patients, and is worthy of clinical application.
