【Abstract】 The "Zhou Dynasty" period in ancient China was a critical period for the disintegration of slavery and the formation of feudalism, as well as an important period for great social changes in ancient times. In the context of the substantial increase in agricultural productivity and the establishment of national cities by the feudal lords, at least two rounds of urban development and construction have emerged during this period, which promoted the evolution of the number, scale, and regulations of cities, and affected the ecological environment such as climate, vegetation, and water and soil.
