【Abstract】 Since the outbreak of COVID-19,the Chinese people have shown great anti-epidemic spirit in the fight against the epidemic. Bred in the cultural self-confidence,this spirit enriches and develops the connotation of the national spirit and the spirit of the times,vividly displays the Chinese spirit in the new era,and becomes the core element of the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the new era. Grasping the rich connotation of anti-epidemic spirit scientifically is conducive to telling Chinese stories and spreading Chinese voice. The cultural self-confidence in the anti-epidemic spirit mainly includes four dimensions: excellent traditional culture,revolutionary culture,advanced socialist culture and the concept of community of common destiny for mankind.
