【摘要】 论文标题要求用简洁恰当的语言反映出论文的特定内容,其质量的高低直接关系到能否让读者明确主题甚至论文能否被国际权威检索系统收录。科技论文标题英译需遵循四大原则:语言准确性、语言简洁性、语言语体性和语言可读性。在把握标题中心内容的前提下,通过准确地选词、用词,特别是专业词汇,实现语言的准确性;通过省略冗长、重复信息,选用复合形容词等凝练标题结构,实现语言简洁性;通过转换民族思维和语言思维,使用被动式逻辑组合和名词类短语,实现语言的语体性;通过遵循标点符号与缩略的规范性、介词选用的多样性等,实现语言的可读性。更多还原

【Abstract】 Sci-tech paper’ s titles are required to reflect their specific content with concise and appropriate languages,whose quality directly determines whether readers can understand their specific topics even whether the paper can be included in international authoritative retrieval system or not. Linguistic principles of language accuracy,language conciseness,language style and language readability should be conformed to in translating sci-tech paper’ s titles from Chinese to English. On the premise of grasping the titles’ key aspects,linguistic accuracy can be achieved by accurately selecting and using words,especially professional words. Linguistic conciseness can be achieved by omitting lengthiness and repetitive information and choosing compound adjectives to condense the title structure. Through conversing national and linguistic thinking,linguistic stylistic features can be reached by applying passive voice and noun phrases. And linguistic readability can be realized by normative punctuations and abbreviation and prepositional variety.更多还原
