【Abstract】 High Plains Tango is the third and final one of The Bridges of Madison Country series, the bestselling romance novel series, by contemporary American novelist Robert James Waller. High Plains Tango presents the conflict between modern civilization and nature and the oppression of modern civilization on nature from the perspective of eco-feminism. Through analyzing, it is found that women are like the nature,are also the victims of the oppression of modern patriarchal society, the heroine, Susanna Benteen, is a typical eco-feminist.
