【Abstract】 Qu Boyu and Confucius had a deep friendship and they agreed in many ideologies.For example,they both held the view that as a Junzi should be reasonable and sensible and treat his monarch with etiquette.From the perspective of Confucianism,the author commented on Qu Boyu ’ s personality,morality,words and deeds.Qu Boyu thought highly of benevolence and virtue,and thereby,he was strict with himself and lenient with others,which made him an easy-going person.His willingness to help others to achieve their dreams got him closer to the image of Junzi that Confucianism held in esteem.He not only became a Junzi himself,but also inspired later scholars to shoulder their responsibility for the country and for the people.He was brave enough to bear his mistakes and corrected them once he realized them and such character of keeping pace with the times should be spread among later generations.更多还原
