【Abstract】 The round ligament of femoral head is a ligament that connects the lower rim of the human acetabulum and the femoral head, and a femoral head round ligament artery is located at its center. The round ligament of femoral head has been considered as a residual tissue of human embryonic development with no biological function. However, with increasing research, the round ligament of femoral head was found to be a strong intra-articular ligament with important physiological functions during the hip movement. This article summarized the latest research progress of the biological characteristics of the round ligament of femoral head and its pivotal functions in congenital hip dysplasia.更多还原
