【Abstract】 The urgent need to implement the "One Belt, One Road" initiative and the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies have challenged China’s language service industry to bring up a new generation of translators with an updated set of knowledge and skills. To take up the challenge, Beijing Language and Culture University has conducted a pilot study of undergraduate-level translator training over the past four years. On the basis of the study, a "Translation + Technology" model of professional training is here proposed as the way to reform China’s language education so that it can better prepare and equip college language majors for meeting the human resources need of the country’s interdisciplinary language service.更多还原
