基于垂直眼电信号的眼疲劳评估系统的研发

【摘要】 目的:研发基于垂直眼电信号(VEOG)的眼疲劳评估系统,通过记录和分析受试者的VEOG客观评估眼疲劳。方法:眼疲劳评估系统硬件由电极、信号处理模块及微控制器模块组成,VEOG由系统放大、滤波并转换为数字信号,经串口实时传输至电脑进行存储和显示。期间招募21名年轻受试者参与眼疲劳评估试验,采集受试者观看视频时的眨眼次数、眨眼持续时间和眨眼幅值3个特征,并将特征的变化趋势与眼疲劳主观问卷结果进行对比。结果:眼疲劳评估系统所采集的VEOG会随着受试者眨眼过程产生对应的幅值变化。随着眼疲劳程度加深,受试者的眨眼次数的阶段1分别与阶段2、3、4比较,差异有统计学意义(t=-3.10,t=-4.74,t=-2.78;P<0.05),阶段3与阶段4比较,差异有统计学意义(t=2.72,P<0.05);眨眼持续时间的阶段3分别与阶段1和4比较,差异有统计学意义(t=2.74,t=-2.11;P<0.05);眨眼幅值的阶段1与阶段3比较,差异有统计学意义(t=2.53,P<0.05)。结论:本研究所设计的基于VEOG的眼疲劳评估系统可以长时间可靠记录VEOG,并用于对受试者因观看视频而产生的眼疲劳进行有效评估。

【Abstract】 Objective: To develop an eyestrain assessment system based on vertical electrooculogram(VEOG) so as to objectively assess eyestrain by recording and analyzing VEOG of receivers. Methods: The eyestrain assessment system consisted of electrodes, signal processing module and micro controller unit module, by which the VEOG signal was amplified, filtered and converted into digital signal, and then was real-time transmitted to the computer by serial port to implement store and display. 21 young subjects enrolled in this assessment experiment of eyestrain during research term. The three features included blink frequency, blink duration and blink amplitude of receivers when they watched video were collected. And the change trends of these features were compared with the results of questionnaire. Results: The amplitude value of the VEOG that was collected by eyestrain assessment system could correspondingly change with the blink process. With the increasing of eyestrain degree, the differences of blink frequency between phase 1 and phase 2, and between phase 1 and phase 3, and between phase 1 and phase 4 and between phase 3 and phase 4 were significant(t=-3.10, t=-4.74, t=-2.78, t=2.72, P<0.05), respectively. And the differences of blink duration between phase 3 and phase 1, and between phase 3 and phase 4 were significant(t=2.74, t=-2.11, P<0.05), respectively. And the difference of blink amplitude between phase 1 and phase 3 was significant(t=2.53, P<0.05). Conclusion: The VEOG can be reliably recorded in a long time by the designed eyestrain assessment system on the basis of VEOG, and this system can be used to effectively assess eyestrain that caused by watching video.
