下斜角对螺旋溜槽流场特征的影响
Influence of Downward Bevel Angle on the Flow Field Characteristics of Spirals
【摘要】 流场特性是决定螺旋溜槽分离性能的重要因素,基于数值仿真技术,采用RNG k-ε湍流模型和VOF多相流模型对四种下斜角的螺旋溜槽流场进行了模拟计算。模拟结果表明,随着下斜角的增大,流体向外缘运动的趋势被削弱,外缘流膜变薄,而中部及内缘处的流膜厚度相应增加;主流切向速度有所增加,二次环流范围变大,但环流强度有一定程度的降低,将对颗粒运动及其分离行为产生影响;湍流的作用强度明显加强,有利于改善槽底颗粒的悬浮状态。
【Abstract】 Flow field characteristics is an important factor to determine the separation performance of the spirals.In this paper,the RNG k-ε turbulence model and the VOF multiphase model are used to predict the effect of the four downward bevel angles to the flow field characteristics of spirals based on the numerical simulation method.The simulation results show that the tendency of the fluid moving to the outer edge is weakened with the increase of downward bevel angle.The thickness of flow film is reduced in the outer region and increased accordingly in the middle region and inner region.The tangential velocity of primary flow is increased.The range of secondary circulation flow is expanded while the cycle strength is reduced,which will affect the particle motion and separation behavior.The intensity of the turbulence is enhanced,which is beneficial to improve the suspension of the bottom particles.
