【Abstract】 It was in the 20 th century that the Huangmei Opera came into being,developed and advanced to its glory.As a playwright,composer and theoretician,Wang Zhaoqian has made indelible contribution to the rise of the Huangmei Opera in the second half of the 20 th century. Wang Zhaoqian is the only( not one of) pioneer and founder especially in the aspects of music and musical theory of Huangmei Opera. This essay is designated to deal with the historical facts that Wang Zhaoqian collected in field investigations on the origin,development and music of the Huangmei Opera,his practices on adapting operatic works and writing music accordingly and his approach of and achievements on creating musical theories for Huangmei Opera,which shall help promote the innovation and advancement of the Opera itself and its music and is also undoubtedly significant to studying the latest progress of the theatrical music in the latter half of the 20 th century.更多还原
