Effects of Edaravone Combined with Ganglioside on GFAP,S100 β,HO-1 and MMP-9 Levels in Patients with Severe Brain Injury
【Abstract】 Objective:To investigate the effect of edaravone combined with ganglioside on the levels of GFAP,S100 β,HO-1 and MMP-9 in patients with severe brain injury.Methods:150 patients with severe craniocerebral injury admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to February 2020 were selected as the observation objects.According to the random number table, the patients were divided into control group (n=75,treated with ganglioside) and combined group (n=75,treated with edaravone and ganglioside). The clinical effect and the degree of brain injury before and after treatment were compared between the two groups (GFAP,S100 β,HO-1,MMP-9),oxidative stress index[MDA,MPO,SOD,GSH-Px].Results:The total effective rate of the combined group (96.00%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (86.67%) (P < 0.05);the levels of GFAP,S100 β,HO-1,MMP-9,MDA and MPO in the combined group were lower than those in the control group, while the levels of SOD and GSH PX in the combined group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion:Edaravone combined with ganglioside in the treatment of severe craniocerebral injury can effectively inhibit the oxidative stress response of patients, repair the nerve function of patients, and has a significant clinical effect.
