【Abstract】 Based on the policy background of new infrastructure, this paper deeply discusses the connotation and significance of new infrastructure, and outlines the development prospect of digital society from the perspective of diversified smart applications in 5G era. As the top of new infrastructure, 5G will lead to major changes in mobile communications towards Internet of everything.
