溶胶-凝胶法低温烧结制备掺镱石英玻璃

【摘要】 以正硅酸乙酯、水、乙醇、五水硝酸镱为原料,N-N二甲基甲酰胺为干燥控制剂,盐酸与氨水作为催化剂,制备了无开裂的块体掺0. 3%(摩尔比)镱干凝胶。通过X射线粉末衍射、孔径分布以及透光测试等手段研究了干凝胶在1 050℃下保温不同时间时凝胶的致密化。结果表明,在空气氛围下,于1 050℃保温6 h,可以获得热稳定性良好、透光优良的完整块体掺镱石英玻璃,可见光波段透光率达85%以上,而近红外波段高达90%以上。

【Abstract】 0.3% mole Yb-doped SiO2 xerogel was prepared with tetraethoxysilane,water,ethanol and ytterbium nitrate pentahydrateas raw materials,hydrochloric acid and ammonium hydroxide as catalyst. The densification process of xerogel was studied by means of XRD,pore size distribution and transmittance spectra at the temperature of 1 050 ℃ . All results indicate that Yb3+-doped Monolithic Silica Glass with good thermal stability and excellent optical performance can be obtained in an air atmosphere and kept at 1 050 ℃ for 6 hours. The transmittance of sample prepared is above 85% in Uv-Visible light band and above 90% in near-infrared band.
