【Abstract】 The problem with the existing slime separation process of the plant is that the coarse slime is subjected to repeated separation. To tackle the problem, renovation of the process is made with the use of fine coal heavy medium cyclone and cleaned slime sieve bend to recover the coarse slime and lower the effective lower size limit of separation down to 0.1 mm. The reform made has led to elimination of the phenomenon of having the coarse slime repeatedly separated, reduced feed volume of flotation cell, and improved social and economic performance of the plant.更多还原
