汽车驱动桥壳断裂失效分析与优化

【摘要】 针对某款驱动桥壳的早期疲劳断裂失效问题,运用Workbench分析桥壳的强度、刚度及疲劳寿命,发现桥壳的疲劳寿命不满足使用要求,其结构设计不合理。此外,对桥壳断口位置进行断口形貌和金相检验分析,发现焊接接头处存在明显的裂纹、未熔合、气孔及夹渣等焊接缺陷,导致焊接接头处力学性能降低。根据仿真分析和失效分析的结果,对桥壳的结构和焊接工艺进行合理的优化,并通过有限元分析、焊缝试验及台架试验验证了优化后桥壳的疲劳寿命得到了显著的提升,符合使用要求。

【Abstract】 Aiming at the early fatigue fracture failure of a drive axle housing,the strength,stiffness and fatigue life of the axle housing are obtained by simulation analysis using Workbench.It is found that the fatigue life of the axle housing does not meet the service requirements due to its unreasonable structural design.In addition,morphologic and metallographic examination of the fracture location shows that there are obvious welding defects such as cracks,non-fusions,pores and slags at the welded joint,which have reduced the mechanical property of the welded joint.Based on the results of simulation analysis and failure analysis,the structure and welding process of the axle housing are reasonably optimized.Verification by finite element analysis,weld test and bench test shows that the fatigue life of the optimized axle housing has been significantly improved,and meets the service requirements.
