【Abstract】 This paper studies Marathon culture in promoting the development of the urban economy by using the methods of literature reviews. Marathon culture plays an important role in promoting the development of urban economy, which includes: Marathon culture provides a carrier for urban economic development; marathon culture provides a boost for urban economic development; marathon culture provides a guarantee for urban economic development.
