【Abstract】 Contemporary college students are the future and hope of the construction and development of our country. The purpose of ideological and political education inhigher education institutesis to promote the healthy growth of college students and train them to be qualified talents in modernization of socialism. Therefore,ideological and political education in higher education institutes must be centered on promoting the all-round development of students with the core idea of educating and cultivating students,for mobilizing students’ enthusiasm and initiative in learning ideological and political courses.
