基于OTN交换技术的铁路光传输网络效率分析

【摘要】 铁路现有的光传输网络中有大量的DWDM设备,这些设备在未来面对流量大幅度增长时需要进行升级。OTN交换技术通过将目的地不同的信号汇聚在同一条光通路中进行传输以提升网络效率,解决了流量大幅度增长引起的带宽扩展问题。在混合线路速率传输和专用1+1保护的铁路光传输网络中,从频谱、成本和能量效率方面分析了在WDM层中引入OTN交换的优势。结合铁路网络中的实际拓扑,RWA算法模拟仿真的结果显示,通过在核心节点中安装OTN交换并进行流量梳理,网络资源的利用率得到显著提高。相较于传统场景,频谱效率最大可以提高602%,而成本和能量效率,最大分别可以提高607%和817%。

【Abstract】 A large number of DWDM devices in the existing railway optical transmission network will need to be upgraded in the future for substantially increasing traffic.The OTN switching technology improves network efficiency by converging signals with different destinations in the same optical transmission path to solve the problem of bandwidth expansion caused by the substantial increase in traffic.The introduction of OTN switching on top of the WDM layer was analyzed in terms of spectral,cost and energy efficiency in a railway optical transmission network with mixed-line-rate and 1+1 dedicated protection.Combined with the actual topology in railway network,the simulation results of routing and wavelength assignment algorithm show significant improvements in the utilization of network resources by installing OTN switching in the optical core nodes and applying traffic grooming.Compared with the traditional scenario,the maximum spectral efficiency can be increased by 602%,the cost and energy efficiency can be increased by up to 607% and 817%respectively.
