【Abstract】 Five representative and widely used languages are analyzed in this study: Chinese, English, French, Italian and Russian. Starting from syntax and intonation, and through a contrastive analysis of polar questions in these five languages, it finds out their commonality and personality. Different types of polar questions in multiple languages are classified to enable people to have a clearer understanding of the structure of polar questions in different languages, and at the same time provide theoretical support of syntactic structures for machine translation.更多还原
