【Abstract】 The plant image has rich implications and is loved by literati of all dynasties. The plant images in Wang Zeng-qi’s local novels, as carriers with which the author expresses his thoughts and emotions, have rich meanings and values and are full of emotion, life force and life flavors. Wang Zeng-qi’s local novels show the aesthetic implication of environmental beauty, customary beauty and emotional beauty through plant images. This kind of local complex and aesthetic pursuit of plant images began from his being influenced by the local background and family environment in his childhood, formed in his youth when he studied under Shen Cong-wen, later became his own personal aesthetic consciousness, and finally was expressed by the plant kingdom constructed by literature. The beauty of plants is written extensively in Wang Zeng-qi’s local novels, thus providing experience for how man and nature coexist at present.更多还原
