【Abstract】 Colleges and universities undertake the mission of cultivating talents with morality,while literature and art carry abundant information of ideological and political education,playing an important function of cultivating virtue. So promoting literary and artistic education is an effective way for colleges and universities to carry out ideological education,and it should naturally become an important work for colleges and universities. Literary and artistic education is to infect people and educate people through vivid literature and art,in order to cultivate students’ virtue of " seeking truth,admiring goodness and upholding beauty".
