【Abstract】 Objective Understand the occurrence of chronic diseases such as hypertension of employees, and provide data support for the health management of employees. Methods we analyze the results of three health examinations in 2014, 2016 and 2018. We focus on hypertension and other chronic diseases; analyze the differences in detection rates between different genders and years. Results Among the three physical examinations, the detection rates of hypertension were 8.60%, 9.60% and 10.04%, respectively. The detection rates of different years were statistically significant(P=0.029). The detection rate of males was higher than that of females. The top 3 abnormal results were thyroid findings, kidney stones and fatty liver. The difference in 3 abnormal results between different genders was statistically significant(P<0.05). The abnormal rate of thyroid examination in women was higher than that in men, and the others were higher in men than in women. Logistic regression results showed that gender had an impact on the outcome of the health checkup, and women were at higher risk(OR=2.743, 95%CI: 1.214~4.421). Conclusion The abnormal rate of workers in this hospital is high, mainly chronic diseases. Continue to carry out physical examinations of workers and strengthen health interventions based on gender characteristics may be beneficial to improve the health of employees.
