【Abstract】 The 1430 s witnessed the conflicts between the Catholic tradition and the Renaissance values. Before the climax of the Renaissance Movement,Florence was unstable:conflicting cultural and social ideas co-existed.Fra Angelico was looking for the possibilities to introduce real landscapes into the paintings themed on Bible figures. Despite of the meticulous depiction of the landscapes,these life-based scenes brought about new visual shocks. When reforming the traditional art,Fra Angelico developed distinctive style and became one of the most outstanding artists in Florence at the early stage of Renaissance.更多还原
