【Abstract】 The colored Pottery vessels unearthed at Majiayao Kiln are important cultural relics of the Yangshao Culture in its middle and late period. The shapes, the decorative colors and patterns, as well as the positions of decorative patterns on the vessels all reflects the state of the material and spiritual life of those primitive inhabitants, representing a qualitative stride forward in their visual and aesthetic perceptions. The emergence of the primitive inhabitants’ aesthetic consciousness denoted their perceptual and rational thinking.更多还原
