成年斑胸草雀HVC_X神经元电生理特性的侧别和性别差异
Lateral difference and sex difference in electrophysiological properties of HVC_X neurons in adult zebra finches
【摘要】 以成年斑胸草雀为实验对象,利用膜片钳电生理技术观察高级发声中枢HVC(higher vocal center)中HVC_X神经元的电生理活动特性,以期探究成年雌雄斑胸草雀HVC_X神经元是否存在侧别差异和性别差异.对成年雌雄斑胸草雀左右脑HVC_X神经元给予5ms、300pA和500ms、100pA的刺激以诱发动作电位,并对其电生理特性指标进行统计分析.结果显示:雌鸟左右脑HVC_X神经元电生理特性无侧别差异,而雄鸟右脑的动作电位潜伏期和后超极化达峰值时间显著低于左脑,且发放频率高于左脑;雌雄鸟左脑HVC_X神经元电生理特性并无显著性差异;雄鸟右脑的动作电位潜伏期和后超极化达峰值时间均显著低于雌鸟右脑,其中,后超极化达峰值时间达到极显著差异,且雄鸟右脑的发放频率显著高于雌鸟右脑.结论为雄鸟右侧HVC_X神经元的兴奋性强于左脑,具有右侧优势.雌雄右侧HVC_X神经元电生理特性存在性别差异.
【Abstract】 In this experiment,we investigate the electrophysiological properties of HVC_X neurons in order to explore whether there are lateral and sex differences in HVC_X neurons in adult female and male zebra finches.The HVC_X neurons were given 5 ms,300 pA and 500 ms,100 pA stimulation to induce action potentials and their electrophysiological properties were statistically analyzed.The results showed that there was no lateral difference in the electrophysiological properties of HVC_X neurons in the left and right brain of female birds,but the latency of action potential and the AHP time to peak in the right brain of male birds were significantly lower than those in the left brain,and the spike rate was higher than that in the left brain.There was no significant difference in electrophysiological properties of HVC_X neurons in the left brain between male and female birds.The latency of action potential and the AHP time to peak in the right brain of male birds were significantly lower than female birds,and the spike rate of the right brain of male birds was significantly higher than female birds.The results showed that the excitability of HVC_X neurons on the right side of the male was higher than that on the left brain.There is sex difference in electrophysiological properties of right HVC_X neurons between male and female zebra finches.
