【摘要】 通用学术英语听力课程应该教什么、如何教以及如何进行测评一直困扰着很多通用学术英语教师。本教改实践以TED演讲素材为例,基于对TED演讲听力教学材料的设计,采用问卷调查的方法来收集学生对课程的反馈意见和建议并探讨通用学术英语听力教学应该"教什么"的核心问题。调查结果发现,通用学术英语听力课程应侧重培养学生的记笔记能力、学术英语演讲能力和思辨能力。文章针对调查结果给出了课程教学中可供参考的可行性建议;此外,本教改实践还简要探讨了"如何教"和"如何进行测评"的问题。通过本次教改实践,希望在提升通用学术英语教师的教学水平的同时,能够进一步促进通用学术英语听力课程的有效教学。更多还原

【Abstract】 It is argued that EGAP teachers are confused about what to teach, how to teach, and how to assess in EGAP listening class. This teaching reform practice takes the TED talks as an example, based on the TED talk listening teaching materials development, using a questionnaire survey to collect student feedback and suggestions on the course and to explore the core question of what to teach in EGAP teaching. The results of the survey show that an EGAP listening class should focus on developing students’ notetaking, academic presentation and critical thinking skills. In response to the survey results, the article provides practical suggestions to the teaching of the above three skills; in addition, this teaching reform practice briefly discusses how to teach and how to assess. It is hoped that the practice of this teaching reform will promote the development of EGAP teachersteaching skills, and further improve the effectiveness of the EGAP listening class.更多还原
