思辨能力培养与语言教学目标的有机结合

【摘要】 社会的发展要求人类的进步,在当今物质生活已经极其丰富的条件下,人类进入了信息社会,由于个人占有的信息量迅速增长,很多学科的学习方式已由传统转向多元化,因而也对人才的培养提出了更高的要求。外语专业要想培养适应时代发展的创新型人才,必须注重对学生思辨能力的培养。"思辨缺席"是困扰英语专业本科人才培养的顽疾。造成这一顽疾的罪魁祸首经常被归为过于重视技能课的训练。然而通过实践证明,英语技能课与思辨能力的培养并非必然背道而驰。只要教学者转变教学观念,明确思辨能力的内涵,通过把握具体的教学环节如课前导入、课文分析与讨论、课后扩展阅读,设计合适的教学活动,完全有可能实现语言教学目标与思辨能力培养的有机结合。

【Abstract】 The development of society requires the progress of human beings.Under the condition of abundant material life,human beings have entered the information society.Due to the rapid growth of the amount of information possessed by individuals,the learning methods of many disciplines have changed from the traditional to the diversified,which also puts forward higher requirements for the cultivation of talents.In order to cultivate innovative talents to adapt to the development of the times,foreign language majors must pay attention to the cultivation of students’ thinking ability."speculative absence" is a stubborn disease that puzzles the cultivation of English majors.The culprit is often attributed to an over-emphasis on skills training.However,practice has proved that English skill courses and the cultivation of critical thinking are not necessarily opposite.As long as the teacher changes the teaching concept,clarifies the connotation of the critical thinking ability,grasms the concrete teaching link such as the introduction before class,the text analysis and the discussion,after class the extension reading,designs the appropriate teaching activity,may realize the language teaching goal and the critical thinking ability to cultivate the organic combination.
