【Abstract】 Wood Structure Calculation is a professional basic course of the wood structure construction major of our school. It has a 13-year history of course construction. The course team has been adhering to the talent training goal of "emphasizing character education and building solid foundation". In response to the new requirements of the development of the times on talent training, various teaching reforms and teaching research explorations are carried out actively. While teaching new technologies and knowledge in the industry, we have explored ways to combine ideological and political education with professional knowledge learning and integrated a variety of ideological and political elements into teaching and course design.
