【Abstract】 The fundamental purpose of education is to cultivate people.University education is a major mission to train future successors for the country and the nation.Therefore,what kind of college students should be cultivated and how to cultivate college students have become particularly worthy of discussion.In view of the current situation of college students and social development,this paper analyzes the contradictions between ideal and reality,individualism and collectivism,independence and dependence from the perspective of the changes of times and the characteristics of students,and points out that it is advocated to cultivate the following core abilities of contemporary college students:independence,public interest and collectivism,which are the most basic three points,and also in line with the needs of the times and the spirit of seeking knowledge.更多还原
