【摘要】 廖秋忠在汉语语料的基础上提出的篇章管界理论是我国汉语语言学界对篇章研究的一大贡献。本文通过分析认为,这一理论同样适用于对英语篇章的分析,而且,英语篇章管界结构中的管领成分并不是只能由词语充当,它也同样可以以句子的形式出现,篇章中的设问句就是这样一种能充当管领成分,与其答语构成篇章管界结构的句式。而且,问答结构还可以形成管领递归现象,从而揭示篇章的层级结构。更多还原

【Abstract】 The "textual governing scope" theory, based on Chinese data, proposed by Liao Qiuzhong, is a great contribution to text studies. A further study of it proves that this theory can apply to English text analysis as well, and that the governing element in the "textual governing scope" structure can not only be a word or a phrase, but also appear as a sentence. Hypophora in a text is such a sentence type that can act as a governing element and form a "textual governing scope" structure together with its answer. Besides,such question-answer structures can also form governing recursion, thus revealing the hierarchical structure of a text.更多还原
