再论中国古代科技典籍翻译理论框架构建
Reexamination of Theoretical Framework for Translation of Chinese Sci-tech Classics
【摘要】 当前语境下,国家大力推动中国传统文化的对外译介与传播,中国古代科技典籍是中国传统科技文化的重要载体之一,因此,十分有必要将中国古代科技典籍翻译视为一个整体,作科学系统的研究。本文依据中国古代科技典籍的事实、翻译学的发展规律及相关学科的内在联系,尝试从中国古代科技典籍翻译的本体论、认识论、方法论、历史论、目的论以及应用论等方面构建中国古代科技典籍翻译的理论框架,助推中国优秀古代科技文化有效地"走出去"。
【Abstract】 In the current circumstances, China is stepping up more efforts to translate and transmit traditional Chinese cultures to foreign countries. Chinese classics of science and technology are one of the main channels to convey cultures of traditional Chinese science and technology. It is, therefore, crucial to carry out holistic and systematic research into translations of Chinese science and technology classics. In this case, this paper attempts to build a theoretical framework for studies on translations of ancient Chinese science and technology classics based on the realities of ancient Chinese works of science and technology, the law of translation studies, as well as its inherent relations with other relevant subjects. This framework involves ontology, epistemology, methodology, history theory, skopos theory, and application theory of translations of ancient Chinese works of science and technology. This study aims to help excellent ancient Chinese cultures of science and technology to "go global".
