【Abstract】 The major cause of morbidity and mortality of diabetes is cardiovascular disease, which is exacerbated by hypertension. Diabetes and hypertension are closely interlinked because of similar risk factors, and there is also substantial overlap in the cardiovascular complications of diabetes and hypertension.
