【Abstract】 Based on the triangle theory of peace culture realization(peace studies,peace education and peace practice),this article defines the significance of peace culture education intended for contemporary college students. It is not only conducive to building up students’ correct values,but also to the cultivation of students’ patriotism and psychological qualities. To carry out peace culture education, first of all, we should actively explore the theory of peace culture and absorb the cultural thoughts both from China and the West. Secondly,we should strive to live up to our socialist core values and cultivate patriotism. Besides,we should consciously inherit the fine traditions of peace culture and enhance cultural consciousness and confidence.
