聚磷酸铵/氢氧化铝对聚氨酯的协同阻燃作用
Synergistic Flame Retardant Effect of Ammonium Polyphosphate and Aluminum Hydroxide on Polyurethane
【摘要】 为了提高聚氨酯(PU)的阻燃性能,以聚磷酸铵(APP)、氢氧化铝(ATH)以及它们的复配物(APP/ATH)分别作为阻燃剂,利用热重分析(TG)、垂直燃烧(UL 94)、极限氧指数(LOI)分析、锥形量热及红外测试等手段,研究了其对聚氨酯(PU)的阻燃性能及相应的阻燃机理。研究结果表明,PU/20%APP和PU/20%ATH的极限氧指数(LOI)分别为24.6%和19.5%,PU/20%APP达到UL 94 V-0级,无滴落;PU/20%ATH达到UL 94 V-2级,且有滴落。而PU/15%APP/5%ATH的LOI可达到30.5%,达到UL 94 V-0级,没有滴落。APP/ATH复配物可以在凝聚相和气相中发挥协同阻燃作用。
【Abstract】 In order to improve the flame retardancy of polyurethane(PU), in this paper, using ammonium polyphosphate(APP), aluminum hydroxide(ATH) and their compound(APP/ATH) as flame retardants, the flame retardant property of PU was investigate by TG, UL 94, LOI, cone calorimetry and IR.The results show that APP/ATH has synergistic flame retardant effect in condensed phase and gas phase.The limiting oxygen index(LOI) of PU/15%APP/5%ATH was 30.5%, UL 94 V-0 rating was attained and no dripping.
