Clinical application of remote monitoring based on Internet of Things in 472 community pregnant women
【Abstract】 Objective To explore the clinical application effect and promotion value of remote monitoring based on the Internet of Things in community pregnant women. Methods A total of 944 pregnant women who received prenatal examinations in the obstetrics and gynecology department of Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Guangzhou Haizhu District from May 2018 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method. 472 pregnant women in the control group was treated with routine home care, 472 pregnant women in the study group was treated with remote monitoring based on Internet of Things. The pregnant women in the study group and the control group were compared and analyzed the delivery time, the amount of labor bleeding, and the incidence of adverse neonatal outcomes. Results The delivery time in the study group was(4.32±0.43) hours, which was significantly shorter than that in the control group of(5.41±0.65) hours, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). The amount of labor bleeding in the study group was(201.56±32.23) mL, which was significantly less than that in the control group of(321.43±54.32) mL, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse neonatal outcomes in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). Conclusion Remote monitoring based on the Internet of Things can effectively guarantee the safety of pregnant women and fetuses, reduce the delivery time, bleeding during delivery, and can also reduce the occurrence of adverse neonatal outcomes, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
