粗壳澳洲坚果木材解剖性质的研究
Study on Anatomical Properties of Macadamia ternifolia Wood
【摘要】 以30年生粗壳澳洲坚果(Macadamia ternifolia)木材为研究对象,利用光学显微镜对其主要解剖性质进行观测与分析。结果表明,粗壳澳洲坚果木材为红褐色;生长轮不明显;散孔材;管孔略小至中等,略少,分布不均匀。导管分子长度中等,单穿孔;管间纹孔式互列。轴向薄壁组织量多;在射线间呈单侧环管带状,带宽2~15个细胞。纤维长度为1 708μm,属于稍长纤维;长宽比为66.2,大于56;纤维率为36%,低于50%;壁腔比为6.76,远大于1,粗壳澳洲坚果木纤维不适合造纸。木射线非叠生,每毫米4~6根;分宽、窄两类射线,窄射线平均宽26μm;宽射线平均宽420μm,属于极宽射线。射线组织为异形Ⅱ和Ⅲ型。木材纹理图案属于粗犷型,赋予人们回归自然的感观刺激。木材径切面由于有较多的宽射线斑纹而呈现银光纹理或银光花纹。在实际生产中,采用径向刨切单板或径锯板可获得美观的纹理图案。
【Abstract】 Using thirty-year-old Macadamia ternifolia wood as research subject, major anatomical properties were observedandanalyzedbyoptical microscope. Resultsshowedthat M. ternifolia wood was reddish brown with invisible growth rings. Wood was diffuse porous, and pores were scarcely and unevenly distributed with small or medium size.Vssel element was simply perforated with medium length. Vessel textures were filled with pores mutually in parallel.Axial parenchyma tissues were abundant, exhibiting unilateral loop band between rays. There were 2 to 15 cells in bandwidth. Fiber was 1 708 μm long, and belonged to long fiber. The ratio of length to width was 66.2, which was greater than 56. Fiber content was 36%, which was lower than 50%. Ratio of wall to cavity was 6.76, which was much greater than 1. Therefore, M. ternifolia wood fiber was not suitable for papermaking. Wood rays were non-storied with 4 to 6 rays each millimeter. There were two kinds of rays which were narrow ray and wide ray. Narrow ray was26 μm wide in average. Wide ray was 420 μm wide in average, which was extremely wide ray. Ray tissues were specially-shaped II and III. Wood textures and patterns was rugged, which could give people an intensive physical incentive to roughly return to the nature. Radial section exhibited silvery textures or silvery patterns because there were a lot of wide ray markings. Beautiful textures and patterns could be obtained by slicing veneer along radial direction in practical production.
