谐振式光纤陀螺单边信号检测方法的研究

【摘要】 热致偏振耦合噪声、背向散射噪声和非线性克尔噪声等因素严重制约了谐振式光纤陀螺的发展,降低噪声的影响对提高谐振式光纤陀螺的精度具有重要的研究意义。本文设计了一种双环腔谐振式光纤陀螺结构,并通过理论分析热致偏振噪声对谐振曲线的影响,提出了一种新的信号检测方法。该检测方法可以判断出谐振曲线受偏振噪声影响小的一边,并利用单边检测方法降低偏振噪声对陀螺精度的影响,双环腔结构也可以有效抑制背向散射噪声。仿真分析表明,在温度变化0.002℃时,检测的归一化幅值误差由0.2261降低到0.0327,单边检测方法可以明显地降低偏振波动噪声带来的影响。

【Abstract】 The development of resonant fiber optic gyroscope is seriously restricted by thermally induced polarization coupling noise, backscattering noise and nonlinear Kerr noise. Suppressing the influence of noise for improving accuracy of resonant fiber optical gyro is of great significance. A new signal detection method with constructing a double-fiber-ring structure is proposed by analyzing the influence of polarization noise on resonance curve theoretically. The detection method can judge the side of resonance curve which is less affected by polarization noise and use unilateral detection method to reduce the influence of polarization noise on gyro precision. With the double-fiber-ring structure, the backscattering noise can also be effectively suppressed. The simulation results show that the normalized amplitude error is decreased from 0.2261 to 0.0327 when the temperature changes 0.002℃, which greatly reduces the influence of polarization fluctuation noise.
